Anthony is a hard working two-way forward and has played for the Halton Hurricanes since Novice. He is thrilled to be a part of Team SCTA once again. He is looking forward to playing with and against many great young players at BOB this summer. Anthony loves hockey and loves joking around with his buddies at the rink.

Jayden Vincent is a hard working power forward from the Guelph Jr. Gryphons. Jayden has great hockey IQ, always looking for the best play on the ice. Jayden is a leader not only in scoring but amongst his teammates. In the off season Jayden is spending time with his family and friends at his family’s trailer, playing basketball and his new found love of golf.

Lucas Styger is a hard working, skilled, two-way forward who plays both centre and wing. He has played for the Niagara North Stars AAA since Novice and he is very excited to enter his 3rd season as part of Team South Central. Lucas began playing hockey at the age of 4 and quickly demonstrated his love for the sport. His passion and motivation in everything he does drives him to be the player he is today. Not only does Lucas love playing hockey but he also loves to watch it; his favourite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Lucas is an all-round athlete who enjoys playing various sports, but hockey is his favourite. In the off season he also plays travel soccer, travel flag football and golf.

Hayden Cochren is a forward for the Halton Hurricanes. Returning for his second season of BOB. Hayden is highly competitive and loves being at the rink working on his game and engaging with his teammates and coaches. When off the skates, Hayden loves spending time with his friends and family.

Adam Shaubel is a hard-working and versatile forward for the Guelph Gryphons U13AAA team. Adam leads with his heart and his relentless passion for the game. Adam is a team player, with a passion for ‘making the play’, and assisting his teammates as the focus of his overall game style. If Adam is not playing hockey on the ice, he is working on his strategy, reviewing plays off the ice and shooting an endless number of pucks ‘to perfect his shot’ in his basement shooting zone. During the off-season, Adam can be found building his skills playing golf and lacrosse.

Hayden Farlow plays for the Grey Bruce Highlanders and is a hardworking forward. Hayden has a lot of heart when it comes to playing hockey and he often wears his heart on his sleeve! Hayden is a creative player who gains inspiration from positive reinforcement and encouragement. In his spare time, you will find Hayden in the garage shooting pucks.

Gryphon Turner plays for the Grey Bruce Highlanders, he is a multi position player who excels at playing in the forward position. Gryphon has been on skates since he was 18 months old and has an overwhelming passion for the sport. He is a hard working player who plays with 100% of his heart and complete dedication to his team. Gryphon has many achievements and awards over his short hockey life but is always striving to accomplish more. In his spare time you will find Gryph on the golf course, playing lacrosse or playing in his inline hockey league.

Liam VanRynsoever is a speedy forward for the Oakville Rangers. He has a knack for finding the back of the net and never backs down. Liam is the type of player that gives 100% and loves to compete. When Liam is not on the ice, you can find him playing elite lacrosse for the Toronto Rockstars. Liam is very excited to represent Team SC this summer.

Ivan is a versatile player that seamlessly transitions between left wing and centre. With quick feet and a good shot, he keeps opponents on their toes. Ivan's leadership and commitment make him a vital asset on and off the ice. Ivan is very excited to be playing for south central this year.

Tyler is a hard working, positionally responsible defenseman and has played for the Halton Hurricanes since Novice. Returning for his 2nd year with the SCTA BoB team; Tyler sees the ice well and is often looking to jump in offensively. When not on the ice Tyler plays baseball for the Milton Mets and enjoys golf and hanging around the pool.

Colin Mayberry is a hardworking, versatile defensemen for the Halton Hurricanes. He takes pride in winning battles along the boards and in the corners but also enjoys joining the rush and contributing to the offence. When he’s not playing hockey, Colin enjoys competing in basketball, baseball, football, and golf.

Will Kemper plays defence for the Oakville Rangers. He is a solid 2 way defenceman who sees the ice well by breaking the puck out of the defensive zone and making the most of offensive opportunities. In his free time, Will enjoys playing outdoor hockey, spending time at the cottage and hanging out with his dog.

Wyatt McInnes is a defenseman for the Peterborough Petes. This is his first year with Team SC. He is a sturdy, puck moving and positionally solid defenceman who likes to compete. He enjoys being with his teammates and loves the game of hockey. When he’s not on the ice, Wyatt enjoys playing basketball and volleyball, reading, hanging out with family and friends and playing NHL24 with his buddies.

Domenico Caputi plays for the Oakville Rangers. He is a defenceman who plays with extreme intensity and is skillful and smart on the ice. He is a two-way defenceman and enjoys joining the rush, however, he always makes sure to get back to his position. Domenico has been playing hockey since he was three years old, right when he stepped on the ice he was in love. Domenico is always focused on tasks and is disciplined on the ice. Domenico has had several achievements with the most recent being the Most Valuable Player during the Bell Ottawa Capital Cup. Off the ice, you will find Domenico playing soccer, football and shooting pucks in any space possible. He is also a certified soccer referee and enjoys helping younger kids develop in other sports.

Defence, Mississauga Senators, 5’9” 127 lbs, Shoots: Left Lucas Murray plays for the Mississauga Senators AAA and is a strong two-way defenseman with a big body and excellent mobility. He gives a smart first pass and is capable of utilizing his skating ability to bring the puck up himself. He plays a well-positioned game and enjoys being aggressive and physical on the puck. Taking pride in defence, Lucas battles with everything he has each shift and competes to the very end. Outside of the rink you can find Lucas shooting pucks or playing basketball in the driveway.

“Dynamite Daxx” has played goalie for Niagara North for the past 5 seasons. He also started for Ridley College’s U14 team this year, as well as their U19 Junior Varsity team. His calm demeanour, intense focus, no fear and a dash of zaniness make him well suited for the role. This is his 3rd season with “Best of the Best” and his mantra is “Bring on the breakaways” – he loves them! When not playing between the pipes, Daxx can be found playing travel soccer, flag football or on the links playing the Niagara Junior golf tour.

Travis Moore plays for the Guelph Gryphons and is a passionate and competitive goalie. His favourite player is Marc Andrew Fleury and he strives to enjoy the game and be as good of a team mate as Fleury is. When he is not at the rink you can find him at the barn with the horses, playing soccer or on the golf course. He is looking forward to returning to play with South Central this year.
